Special Skills
Poole is excellent in moving from a performer who controls his audience to a self-pitying comic en route to a meltdown.
- Jim J. Tommaney Houston Press Blog
Brick Wall at UH Explores the Lives of Three Stand-up Comedians
Registering many noteworthy performances is Patrick Poole, playing all manner of old men, illusions, and passersby, and his turn as Robin the Clown turns what could be little more than archaic badabooms into truly comic moments...
- Eric Minton Shakespeareances.com
However, Poole attains the play's highest point on the laugh meter as Gluttony during the presentation of the Seven Deadly Sins to Faustus.
- Eric Minton Shakespeareances.com
Poole's Gluttony masticates on words as ravenously as he does on the food in his hand: a Twinkie.

Shakespeareances.com: Doctor Faustus, American Shakespeare Center's Method in Madness Tour
Foregoing any Snidely Whiplash mugging or pathological mannerisms, Poole gives us a Don John of humorless malevolence with a simmering anger over his lack of position. I've seen a range of Don Johns, from patently evil to satirically funny, but Poole's makes me believe he poses a real danger to his brother, to Claudio, and to anybody else who puts him down.
- Eric Minton Shakespeareances.com
Poole, that malevolent Don John, is a hilarious Verges, oblivious to Dogberry's obvious superiority.
- Eric Minton Shakespeareances.com
Chris Perrotti as Harry, Patrick Poole as Paul and Eric Behr, as conflicted attorney Ed Devery, all deliver stellar performances and provide a well-constructed acting ensemble.
-Christopher Verleger Edge: Boston
Poole plays Doricourt with impressive energy.

The Belle’s Stratagem
Chris and Adam, played with great joy and energy by Patrick Poole and Jonathan Fink respectively, show great chemistry.
-Walter Bender Stage Magazine
But the main players in this journey through the world of Jewtopia are definitely Chris and Adam. Poole and Fink work extremely well together. Their interplay shows some great comedic timing and familiarity with each others’ moves. Some of their scenes are very physically demanding, and they show no hesitancy moving from one situation to another.
